Food Mohalla is a country-wide chain of quality fast food restaurants and India’s fastest growing food brand. Established in 2017, Food Mohalla started as a small homegrown brand in the city of Gandhi's Dandi Satyagraha, Navsari (Gujarat). The core idea behind Food Mohalla was to provide wholesome food with flavorsome delicacies spread over the something-for-everybody menu.
Pizza is the most recognised food item in the Mohalla. 1.1 Does Food Mohalla provide a Master franchise?
Yes, Food Mohalla has an option for Master franchise.
1.2 What is the Master Franchise fee?
Master franchise fee will be calculated as – 30% of (Licensee Fee x Franchise fee) which will be a one-time payment. And going forward for every franchise you sell a charge of 2% royalty revenue sharing and 70% + 30% of franchise fee.
1.3 Are there any criteria mandated for the number of stores in the Master franchise?
No, we are flexible that way and do not keep any mandated number of stores to provide a Master franchise. However, the first outlet should be opened by the franchise.
1.4 What is the royalty percentage?
Food Mohalla charges a royalty of 4%.(2% for Master franchise & 2 % for Brand)
1.5 Who takes the accountability of the site selection and set-up?
Food Mohalla has a dedicated team who takes sole responsibility in site selection and set-up of the franchise. Starting from furniture and fixtures to utensils, cutlery everything we will purchase at the best price available from the market.
1.6 As a franchisor, what services do you give to the franchisees?
Food Mohalla is very particular and specific about auditing the business operations and sharing reports on areas of improvements, managing the entire team, hiring, training the team, providing accommodation and travel facilities during the training period.
1.7 How much manpower are to be hired to run the operation in the Master franchise?
Manpower to be hired are by brand fully
Sales Executive- as per demand and on a temporary basis till the target is met of opening the required number of franchises.
Operation team will be hired and they will be working on long term basis(permanent)
1.8 How is the product supply handled by the store?
90% products will be supplied by the brand and only 10% general products like milk, bread will be supplied by outside vendors.
And are the orders to be placed will have to be done manually or any auto system is there?
There is an auto system that will be used for placing the required orders.An invoice will be raised and products will be supplied when required.
1.9 Lets say, there are 10 stores under the Master franchise.So, who will be responsible for taking responsibility of these stores in terms of overall day to day management.
As per the pattern of Food Mohalla, for every 5 franchises there will be 1 dedicated Operation Manager. So, for 10 franchises 2 Operation Managers will be deputed and these 2 operation managers will be reporting to the Area Manager.

Food Mohalla has 2 Master franchises ( in South Gujarat and Haryana) and 82 running franchise stores till 2023.
