Sam’s Pizza was started in the year 1999 by Mr. Kailash Goenka. The entry of pizza in the Indian market was very new at that time and only a few MNCs had just come.  Mr. Kailash Goenka was already running a chain of South Indian Restaurants “Sankalp” since 1980, and understood the psyche of the Indian market very well. A large pizza in 1999 used to cost Rs. 250/-. To counter this, Mr. Kailash came up with the very new and innovative concept of serving Unlimited Pizzas + Soups, Salads, Cheese Breads and Brownies at a very competitive price of Rs.75/- Per Head. Sam’s Pizza took the market by storm. His ingenuity overcame all obstacles and doubts. The result is, today we have more than 23 Outlets.

Even though the pizza belongs to Italy, Sam’s Pizza has its own inspiration. During the Second World War the American Soldiers in Italy liked the peasants’ food very much and they took it with them to America. There they experimented with it, turning the simple hand tossed pizza into a Deep Pan and Thin Crust Pizza which is also known as New Yorker Pizza. Thus, even though Sam’s serves Italian pizzas but because we serve it in American style so go by the name Sam’s Pizza.

Sam’s Pizza also has a spread of the most exotic salads, among the best served in the country. We have been innovative enough to experiment with Indian flavors along with the American ones.

The pizzas at Sam’s Pizza are made from fresh dough which is prepared twice a day in keeping with the projections of the sales for the day. The preparation time for the dough balls is 2 hrs, which makes the task of giving fresh dough a risky bet. If incase the projection may fall short, we prefer closing before time than compromising on freshness. We also bake our own fresh breads every morning. This is the reason for the softness and freshness of our breads. Our Brownie also deserves mention. It has been described as the fudgiest and yummy chocolaty. It is made from a secret recipe with selected ingredients like Walnuts, Honey, Brown Sugar, Butter, Cream among others.
