Lipsmacking Desi Chinese is a go-to for every food lover, but it's hygiene has often raised a few eyebrows. Our founder Ankit Jain has been in the food business for more than a decade, but as a vegetarian himself he knew that there is a huge market gap when it comes to pure-vegetarian desi Chinese places. Compelled to provide a solution and the need for hygienic food in the post COVID-19 times, he has built The Country Wok, a pure-veg desi Chinese food place. Being an ex-franchise owner himself, he understood how difficult it is to run a food business without a skilled chef. At the same time, he is well-aware of the limitations of finding professionally trained culinary talent in smaller cities.

So, The Country Wok was built to have a one-packet-one-dish concept, that eliminates the need to employ trained chefs and makes the chain a practical solution for smaller Indian cities.
